Biography Reference Bank Biography Reference Bank includes full-text biographical information on over 500,000 people from antiquity to the present. Thousands of images and article citations are available as well. Biographies are searchable in several ways including by name, profession, gender, race/ethnicity and place of origin.
Oxford Dictionary of National Biography The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography contains 50,000 biographical sketches of persons, deceased, associated with the British Isles "who have left a mark for any reason, good, bad, or bizarre." An update of the renowned Dictionary of National Biography, the ODNB possesses the same lively and witty writing style that distinguished the original.
Who's Who Marquis Who’s Who on the Web is a searchable online database, featuring comprehensive profiles on over 1.4 million of the most accomplished individuals from all fields of endeavor including: government, business, science and technology, the arts, entertainment, and sports.

Oxford African American Studies Center This reference product includes 7500 articles culled from such reference titles as the Encyclopedia of African American History 1619-1895, Black Women in American, and Africana. Also included are primary source documents, images, and maps.
Oxford Encyclopedia of Food and Drink in America Providing 700 entries relating to the consumption, production, culture, and influence of food and drink in the United States, this reference contains broad coverage, including descriptions of food in various regions, company information, food at different stages of life, and history of food. Examples include food in Alaska, the Kellogg Company, karo syrup, and sandwich trucks.
Oxford Encyclopedia of Latinos and Latinas in the U.S. This book provides information on the history, culture, demographics, and lives of the Latino and Latina population. Also includes biographies, political party overviews, and immigration patterns. Entries range from pueblos to the War of 1898.
St. James Encyclopedia of Popular Culture This encyclopedia includes more than 2,700 signed essays ranging from 500 to 2,500 words, written by subject experts and edited to form a consistent, readable, and straightforward reference.
